Volunteer Appreciation Day
We are holding our Volunteer Appreciation Day on June 12 at 6:30 p.m. This is our way to say THANK YOU! We will be honoring Scott Elmer (Past Board President) and Matt Hagen-Stowe (former Summer Assistant and Jr. Curator) with our Volunteers of the year award. There will be free ice cream and cake! The ice cream is being donated by Hogan Brothers and the cake is from Quality Bakery. If you are a current member or volunteer, stop on down for some good food and fun. The night is all about you! If you are wanting to volunteer with us, this is the best way to find out what we offer, and you get to meet current volunteers and find out what it is like to work with us. Without volunteers the Historical Society would not be the great organization it is today!

Michigander likes Northfield
I visited my brother Paul Gram and Dave Roth of Northfield 6-21-08 and had a great time in Your town. I love the town the people and the history, even with out Jesse I would like your town! But I love the story of the holdup and the way you let the people access the sight. I have a suggestion! I ride Harley Davidson, and have been retailing for years, heres the plan that will sell a bunch of tees. Order the tees exactly as I recommend. Black, XXL thru M, Have the picture that is on the poster of Jesse James, with the Confederate flag behing him and the pistols applied to the BACK of the tee shirts and have these words above and below, "Ride hard, or die" Jesse James and Younger Gang holdup Northfield, Minn. 1876. This tee shirt will sell like hot cakes! I've ridden since 1965, and you can put me down for 3 right now at 21.95 Thanks and keep the vault closed and locked, Phil Gram, Interlochen, Michigan. 231 275 6379
