Archer House

I can't believe it has been three weeks since I did a post. I am sorry for that. With all the talk about the Archer House renovations, I thought I would share two photographs to show how it has changed over the years. This first one is dated about 1900. Notice no boardwalk.
Now this picture is dated about 1960. Once again no boardwalk.
Now, here is a trivia question for everyone. When was the boardwalk put on? |

Board Walk
I would check with the Historical Society of Minnesota in Saint Paul. Also, their must be some other People that were around their at the time.
Surly, I do not have a clue, as I was a toddler at the time. and now, my late Mom was raising my Brothers and I in Rushville, Indiana. with he ex-Husband my late Dad.
I, assure you that the quicker and sooner one fines out, the sooner you may up-date your requesting this information.
Also, it is a shame that MPR hostel your local Public Radio Station. cause that would have been the way to send around the request.
Another way, to find out is at the Rest Homes for older People, and Places of Worship. how about Barber Shops?
