Northfield Historical Society at the Northfield Volunteer Festival
The Northfield Historical Society will be among 30 organizations at the Northfield Volunteer Festival. The festival is a way for non-profit organizations to showcase themselves to prospective volunteers. The Northfield Historical Society will be showcasing many opportunities for people to volunteer such as: inventory, preservation, and data entry of collections, weblog updates, exhibit design, oral history video taping and interviewing, Northfield History Online Timeline development, graphic design for special events and programs, media relations and publicity, special event development and support, market research, retail store and admissions, video editing, and public school outreach. We will be handing out pamphlets for you to take home describing all the volunteer opportunities at NHS.
We will be brining with us three traveling exhibit panels from the Bank Raid exhibit and the Governors Ball exhibit. We will also be unveiling our new Northfield History Match Game! If you can match all the cards in the allotted time you will win a Scriver Building Trinket box. If you want to take the chance and answer a question derived from the information on one of the cards you could win a Jesse James Bobble Head as well.

COME ON OUT TO THE NORTHFIELD MIDDLE SCHOOL BETWEEN 1-4 and say hi and play a game with us. Volunteers are the lifeline of historical society and we can always use more! See you there!
