Buttons, Buttons, We've Got the Buttons

If you are in downtown this weekend for Art Swirl, stop by the Northfield Historical Society and check out our exhibit on buttons and pins from Northfield's past.  The exhibit is titled "Buttons, Buttons, We've Got the Buttons" and  looks at the history of the button.  There are over 300 buttons and 2,000 pins on display.  All of the buttons and pins are from the NHS collection.

Historic Bank Site, More Historic With Move

The safe that was on display in the restored First National Bank site has been moved into the vault, thanks to former NHS Board member Chip DeMann and his team of Gus and Molly DeMann.  This move gives the restored bank site a more authentic look and feel.  See the slide show below for photos of the safe being moved.
