A Northfield Legacy of Care

Following Pat, Kathy Olson, Executive Director of Millstream Commons will address senior housing options. Then Rich Falck, Board member of the Northfield Historical Society and Millstream Commons will give a very informative presentation on leaving a Legacy in Northfield.
New NHS Board Members Meet for the First Time in 2006 and Jump In Head First!

This past Monday the new Board of Directors met for the first time and REALLY rolled up their sleeves, making some tough but exciting and very bold motions.

Last Thursday (4/6/06) the Northfield Historical Society presented the History of the Grand/Ware Auditorium. The program kicked off with Becca Wheeler, NHS intern and St. Olaf student, giving a very well prepared history of the Grand. She documented how A.K. Ware founded the Ware Auditorium in 1899 and its first set back four months later with a fire. She went up to the present, detailing the Grand long and rich history. Becca closed by saying,
