From the Not-So-Old-News catagory: Historical Society president Rob Schanilec, Executive Director Mark Fagerwick and former Board Member Joan Kark are included in the current Minnesota Monthly's Faces in the Crowd for their presence at the Historical Society/St. Olaf College presentation of Clara's Visitor Jan. 9.

CALL FOR BOARD MEMBERS
Submitted by administrator on Tue, 03/22/2005 - 10:40.There are currently two positions open on the Northfield Historical Society Board of Directors. One is a full three-year term, the other the final year of a three-year term.
The Board meets once a month to discuss policy and make decisions towards realizing our mission to honor, preserve and interpret Northfield’s unique place in history. We're also a vital part of Northfield's rich culture, providing programs, exhibits, projects and events that bring our heritage to life.

Learn the details of the historic Northfield Bank Raid and how to present the story to musuem visitors. Earl Weinmann will be providing training Tuesday evenings, April 5-May 31. Sessions last approximately 2 hours. Trained docents will be asked to present tours 1 to 2 weekend days a month. Contact Earl for more information, 645-9488.
